Expansive school site requires improvements to an existing fire alarm system, additional installation on a separate building and ongoing maintenance for the site. System must be linked to form one system for the entire site.
Assess the school site and current system. Advise on an upgrade program to replace smoke sensors over 10 years old. Replace the reception building Fire Control and Indication panel, with an addressable Gent Vigilon panel, integrate with 3 x existing Gent panels to create a fully networked system integrating the complete site. Install an additional loop card to accommodate the new science building. Install an additional 45 devices onto the system, to include call points, smoke, and heat sensors. Commission additional works. Set in place a maintenance contract.
All the above works carried out as proposed. Maintenance agreement set in place to provide quarterly service visits, planned preventative works and call out facility. Programmed the Fire Panel to allow for phased evacuations and all other requirements to facilitate the school Fire safety plan. Full initial inspection and reports provided to customers satisfaction.
