Site survey carried out to assess the design for the intruder alarm system. Noted that cabling will not be possible for some areas of the property. System design to be hybrid to allow wired and wireless connectivity. Liaise with building site project manager to agree system design and equipment locations. Intruder Alarm specification provides coverage of entire property, with perimeter and internal protection. monitoring provided.
System design approved and installed to specification. 2 X entry routes and various part setting options configured to the customer’s needs. Flush mounted, touchscreen keypads with panic alarm function used throughout. External bell box fitted in agreed location. Secure wireless devices installed where cable access not possible. These wireless devices are a 2-way type that are constantly monitored by the security panel for communication, tamper, and alarm conditions. System connected to central station monitoring by a Dualcom device that uses a combination of GSM and IP signal pathways, providing continual cover even if the internet connection is down. Insurance requirements and system design requirements fully met.
